    Infancy
    The tear-stained face, the smiles,the voice that called to me...
    Do you remember?
    I took you along for a walk on firework night
    Then at some time later,
    you began to cry and embarrassed me right on the spot...

    We had bunk beds, with me, above of you
    And I would almost fall asleep...
    until you spoke to me

    So much time has passed since then
    I haven't said it until now,
    but I immediately wanted to tell you
    that I saw a white fairy tonight
    "You've gotten pretty, Sister..."

    Thinking back to your feelings in the spring
